Good to know about Trane
Count before you open the door
The red light is behind the small window in the blower door. Opening the door cuts the power and clears the live code. Count the flashes through the window first.
Four flashes is not harmless
On Trane boards, four flashes means an open limit circuit, and that circuit includes the rollout switch. If it comes back after a reset, leave it off and book.
Warranty
Trane gives you 60 days to register. Registered parts coverage is about twice the unregistered term. We check before quoting a covered part.

Count the flashes through the small window before you open anything, and add the count to your booking. Our Trane code guide is linked at the bottom of this page.
Do you also repair American Standard?
Yes. American Standard furnaces are the same Trane hardware.
How much does a furnace repair cost?
Typical Western Washington furnace repairs run $150–$700. It depends on the part, not the brand. Industry range, not a quote. Your exact price comes upfront and you approve it first.
