Good to know about Mitsubishi
Count the blinks before you reset
Mitsubishi indoor units don’t show letter codes. They blink, and the same count can mean different things depending on the mode. Count the blinks, note whether it was heating or cooling, then add it to your booking.
Hyper-Heat is built for cold
Mitsubishi rates its Hyper-Heat models to keep heating down to −13°F, far colder than a Puget Sound winter. A Hyper-Heat that runs but can’t keep up is usually iced over, low on refrigerant or undersized, not beaten by the weather.
Who gets the 12-year warranty
Mitsubishi gives 12 years on parts and compressor when a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor installs the system and it is registered within 90 days. Other licensed installs carry Mitsubishi’s standard terms, which it lists as 5 years parts and 7 years compressor.
Mitsubishi and Trane
Mitsubishi’s US heating and cooling business is a joint venture with Trane, so some Trane ductless units are Mitsubishi hardware. We repair both.

My Mitsubishi is blinking. What should I do?
Count the blinks and note the mode, then add it to your booking. Our Mitsubishi blink-code guide is linked at the bottom of this page.
Why is my Mitsubishi heat pump not heating?
Most often a packed filter or dirty coil, ice on the outdoor unit that isn’t clearing, or low refrigerant from a leak. We measure it and show you which.

It depends on the part. Your exact price comes upfront and you approve it first.
